Choose Object type: Order, Order stage, or Template. 2. Use Quick pick or search by number/name, choose a suggestion, and select “Show attachments”. 3. Under Add file, select “Choose file”, pick a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF, and select “Add attachment”. 4. Select “Preview” for an image/PDF or “Download” for the original. 5. Select “Delete” and confirm to schedule the file for deletion. 6. Open “Allowed formats and limits” if upload is rejected. ## What you see on screen - The selected object appears above the upload form; the table lists name, MIME, size, author, date, and actions. - Quick pick is intentionally limited; Show remaining and search reveal more objects. - Preview supports images and PDF. - A worker can handle files only for manually assigned order operations. ## Effects of changes - Upload associates the file with exactly one selected object and creates an audit event. - Delete hides it immediately and physical purge follows after seven days. - Removing a process from an order or template can apply the same deletion flow to its attachments. ## Important warnings - Download files you must retain before removing an operation. After the retention period, the app cannot restore them. ## Common problems ### Upload is rejected. Check extension, actual MIME signature, file size, object count, and total-size limits. ### A worker cannot find an operation. An owner must manually assign that worker profile to the single-worker order operation. ## Related articles - [Orders](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/orders.md): Create, filter, copy, edit, schedule, and move orders through their complete status lifecycle. - [Templates](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/templates.md): Reusable order flows with sequences, parallel blocks, paths, materials, and product fields. - [Worker day](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/worker-day.md): A worker's daily flow: attendance QR, clock-in, assigned tasks, attachments, and clock-out. - [Audit](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/audit.md): Business event history with category and user filters plus before/after details. ## Screenshots - [Every attachment belongs to a selected order, order stage, or template.](https://syncroplan.com/docs/en/attachments.webp): Object selection, upload controls, attachment list, and preview
