Organization — one company's shared data and memberships. 2. Member — an account with access role/status; Worker — a skilled scheduling resource linked to an account. 3. Workstation — a type of work position; Workstation unit — one parallel instance of that type. 4. Process — reusable activity with workstation and default duration; Template — reusable definition of processes, materials, and product fields. 5. Order — specific production work with deadline, status, and its own copied operations and materials. 6. Block — a stage in process structure; Path — a sequence inside a block that can run in parallel with other paths in that block. 7. Technological break — a required delay before the successor, not worker labor time. 8. Product field — named text, number, or list value used on orders and in filters. 9. Material coverage — required quantity compared with issue, reservation, and shortage; Reservation — on-hand quantity allocated to an order. 10. Task — a scheduled segment for a worker and workstation; completion records progress. 11. Audit — non-editable history of selected changes; Archive — orders after they reach Archived. ## What you see on screen - Role values are Owner, Manager, and Worker. - Assigned and Reserved describe the same allocated material quantity in order and inventory contexts. ## Effects of changes - The glossary is read-only and gives the team a shared vocabulary. ## Important warnings - Do not equate member and worker: a management account can have access without being a scheduling resource. ## Common problems ### A label differs from this guide. Check the selected language and context; report the screen if the mismatch remains. ### A quantity may be stock or reservation. In Inventory, On hand is physical, Reserved is allocated, and Available remains free. ## Related articles - [Roles and permissions](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/roles-and-permissions.md): What owners, managers, and workers can do, plus the effect of membership status. - [First production plan](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/first-production-plan.md): The complete setup flow from organization data to a generated production schedule. - [Troubleshooting](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/troubleshooting.md): Fast checks for authentication, permissions, empty plans, materials, QR, printing, uploads, filters, and imports.
