# Organization > Organization details, plan and seat usage, member roles and statuses, accounts, and temporary passwords. - Canonical HTML: [https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/organization](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/organization) - Language: English - Roles: owner, manager, worker - Keywords: organization, member, role, status, temporary password, plan, worker seats ## Outcome You will add members with appropriate access while preserving owner continuity. ## Before you start - Owner role is required to manage members. ## Menu path Menu → Organization ## Step-by-step instructions 1. Review the organization name, immutable Organization code, your role and status, tier, and Worker seats. 2. Enter First name, Last name, Username, optional Email, and Role. You may edit the suggested username. 3. Optionally enter a temporary password or leave the field blank to generate one automatically. Select “Add member”. The account starts as Pending, and the full login and password appear in a dialog that must be closed manually. 4. Send both values through a secure channel. First sign-in requires a personal password before app access. 5. On Members, edit names, username, or email and save. Login or email changes revoke sessions; use “Reset password” when access is lost. 6. Change role or status separately. An additional owner requires a verified email. 7. Read the plan, subscription state, and Worker seats counter. The plan determines the limit; it is not editable here, and an active trial displays unlimited capacity. ## What you see on screen - Only owners receive the member list and management controls; other roles see their own organization data. - The table separates First name, Last name, full Login, optional Email and verification, Role, Status, and Actions. - Seat usage counts Pending and Active worker memberships. Trial accounts are unlimited; a paid plan may have a configured limit. ## Effects of changes - A Worker member creates a Worker record without skills in the same transaction; Manager and Owner do not create scheduling resources. - The same username may exist in another organization because its company code differs. - Disabled removes access but preserves history. - Role and status changes appear in Audit. - Expiry blocks operational access without deleting members or their history. ## Important warnings - A temporary password appears once. After changing a username, send the new full login. The last active owner cannot be downgraded or disabled. ## Common problems ### A worker cannot be added. Check username uniqueness in this organization. Email is optional but globally unique when supplied. On a paid plan, also review seat usage. ### The worker seat limit cannot be changed. The limit belongs to the plan and is not editable in Organization. Worker accounts are unlimited during an active trial; contact SyncroPlan to change the plan. ## Related articles - [Roles and permissions](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/roles-and-permissions.md): What owners, managers, and workers can do, plus the effect of membership status. - [Workers](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/workers.md): Production profiles, accounts, skills, absences, inactive status, and schedule impact analysis. - [Audit](https://syncroplan.com/en/docs/audit.md): Business event history with category and user filters plus before/after details.
