## Outcome
You will configure the scheduling calendar and, as an active paid-plan owner, run a controlled data export or import.

## Before you start
- Calendar settings are available to Owner and Manager.
- Import and export require Owner and an active paid plan.
- Import requires a supported JSON data object.

## Step-by-step instructions
1. Set Work start and Work end plus Breakfast and Lunch break ranges.
2. Add specific Working Saturdays and Holidays with their date controls.
3. Remove an incorrect date with ×, then select “Save”.
4. After calendar changes, return to Orders and select “Generate schedule”.
5. During a trial, Backup explains that import and export become available after a paid plan starts; other operational features and Worker accounts remain available.
6. An owner on an active paid plan selects “Export JSON” to download the current package.
7. On an active paid plan, choose a JSON file, select append or replace, and select “Import data”.
8. For replace, read and confirm the warning, then review Import summary and Warnings.

## What you see on screen
- Work hours and breaks define schedulable intervals.
- Working Saturdays enable selected dates; Holidays exclude dates.
- A trial shows the data-transfer availability notice instead of import and export controls.
- On an active paid plan, append merges imported records with conflict mapping; replace clears the current organization dataset and restores the file.

## Effects of changes
- Saving affects the next generation but does not recalculate by itself.
- Export on an active paid plan is read-only.
- Import on an active paid plan refreshes catalogs, orders, completions, inventory, attachments, and settings according to its summary.

## Important warnings
- Replace is available only to an owner on an active paid plan and overwrites the organization's current data. Export first and verify the selected file before confirming.

## Common problems
### The import file is rejected.
Choose a .json file containing a data object; plain text or a top-level array is unsupported.

### Import and export controls are missing.
Sign in as an owner and check subscription state. Data transfer requires an active paid plan and is intentionally unavailable during a trial.

### Changed hours did not alter the plan.
Save Settings, then generate the schedule again.
